Inspiring You and LEAD for Growth Announce New Book on the Evolution of Leadership

‘Lead for Growth’ offers real-world coaching tools and insights to strengthen leadership, culture, and performance in today’s complex environment

BURLINGTON, ON | Monday, May 11, 2026

Inspiring You, in collaboration with LEAD for Growth, is proud to announce the upcoming release of Lead for Growth: Inspiring Stories and Practical Tools for Leaders Coaching Their Teams to the Next Level, a new book designed to help leaders navigate today’s evolving workplace through stronger human connection and coaching-led leadership.

Now available for pre-order on Amazon, with hard copies available May 14, the book brings together a collective of certified executive coaches who share practical tools, lived experiences, and real-world case stories to help leaders coach their teams more effectively.

The project, a collaboration between Nancy Dewar, founder of Inspiring You, Drew Munro and Kim Rowan, Principals with LEAD for Growth, and an additional 13 executive coaches, reflects a shared commitment to strengthening leadership through connection and growth.

“This project has been a meaningful journey for us, not just because of the writing, but because it’s been a true collaboration with people who are deeply passionate about making a difference in the world of leadership,” said Dewar. “At its core, the book explores how leadership is evolving, moving away from having all the answers and toward helping others grow through conversation, trust, and shared learning. More than anything, it reflects a belief that growth happens through connection, through the everyday conversations that shape how we think, lead, and support each other.”

Set against a backdrop of increasing complexity, from AI and hybrid work to flatter organizational structures and five generations in the workforce, the book addresses a central challenge for leaders: how to drive performance while maintaining meaningful connection. “Canadian organizations are operating in an increasingly complex and competitive landscape, where leadership capability is directly tied to performance and resilience,” said Matthew Holmes, Chief of Public Policy at the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, who emphasizes the broader importance of leadership in today’s economic environment. “This book highlights the critical role coaching plays in developing leaders who can adapt, build trust, and unlock the full potential of their teams.”

Recent findings from Gallup reinforce the urgency. Global employee engagement sits at just 20%, with manager engagement dropping to 22%, underscoring a growing gap in leadership capability and the need for stronger coaching skills across organizations.

Designed as both a learning resource and practical guide, the book bridges the gap between theory and application. Each chapter explores a different dimension of coaching and leadership, supported by actionable tools that can be immediately applied in the workplace.

“This book is exactly what today’s leaders need. Through simple tools, real-world challenges, and success stories, it shows how coaching can transform leaders and teams. It has strengthened confidence, clarity, and impact across our organization and built trust, alignment, and capability in our leadership team. This is a must-read for any leader who wants to unlock potential, empower others and create a culture where people and teams thrive.”

Lee Ferreira, General Manager, Ferring Pharmaceuticals, Canada

As organizations continue to adapt to disruption and change, Inspiring You and LEAD for Growth aim to inspire a shift in how leadership is practiced, from directive to developmental, and from transactional to deeply human.

Drew Munro & Kim Rowan Become Senior Associates with Barrett Values Centre

TORONTO, ON Wednesday, May 20, 2026

We are incredibly proud to share that Drew Munro, CMC, CEC, ICP-ACC, C.Dir. Munro and Kimberly Rowan, CEC, ACC become Senior Associates with Barrett Values Centre.

At LEAD for Growth, our purpose is simple; inspiring leaders to drive growth.
Through our three practice areas — strategy, leadership development, and culture — we help organizations build growth strategies, inspire leaders and teams, and evolve cultures that enable long-term success.

We believe:
• Great cultures enable strategy execution
• Great leaders create great cultures
• Personal growth unlocks business growth

That is why this partnership with Barrett Values Centre is so meaningful to us.

The Barrett methodology and assessments provide powerful insights that help organizations align values, strengthen leadership, and intentionally shape cultures where people and performance thrive together. We have seen firsthand how culture can either accelerate strategy — or quietly undermine it.

We are honoured to join a global network of practitioners committed to evolving conscious leadership and values-driven cultures around the world.
A sincere thank you to the Barrett Values Centre team for the opportunity and partnership. We are excited for what lies ahead.

Culture doesn’t improve by accident. If your team is navigating engagement, alignment, or growth challenges—or you’re looking to take your culture to the next level—let’s connect.

Nancy Dewar Featured in Canadian HR Reporter on Leading in a Hybrid World

TORONTO, ON Friday, March 20, 2026

At LEAD for Growth, we’re seeing firsthand how hybrid work is reshaping not only where we work, but how leaders need to show up for their teams.

Our own Nancy Dewar was recently featured in Canadian HR Reporter, sharing her perspective on why coaching is becoming an essential leadership capability in today’s evolving workplace.

Many leaders are still navigating this shift. What worked before - relying on visibility, presence, or informal check-ins - doesn’t always translate in a hybrid environment. And for many, that’s where the challenge lies.

These ideas are just a glimpse of what we explore more deeply in our upcoming book, launching May 14, 2026 — focused on helping leaders grow people, teams, and cultures in a way that drives meaningful and sustainable results.

Pre-orders are now available: https://leadforgrowth.com/book-pre-order

Building Coaching Cultures: A Strategic Advantage for Growth

TORONTO, ON Wednesday, March 11, 2026

At LEAD for Growth, we believe that leadership today is about more than strategy and operational execution—it’s about inspiring people, developing talent, and creating organizations that thrive in complexity and change.

Last week, our Co-Founder and Principal, Drew Munro, CMC, CEC, ICP-ACC, C.Dir., joined a powerhouse panel hosted by The Talent Company for their Future Ready Session: Building a Coaching Culture to Drive Performance. Drew shared insights on how coaching can serve as a high-velocity multiplier for business performance and a critical tool for mitigating leadership and succession risk.

Moderated by Zahra Hirji, the session featured global experts:

  • Drew Munro, CMC, CEC, ICP-ACC, C.Dir. | LEAD for Growth

  • Linda Iriah, SPHRi, GPHR | Global HR Integration Leader, Ipsos Canada

  • Natasha Skolny, CHRL | High-Growth Culture Specialist, Calix

The panel explored how effective coaching isn’t just a nice-to-have, it’s a strategic lever that accelerates growth, strengthens teams, and fosters resilient organizations. As Drew emphasized during the discussion, “The leaders who thrive are those who understand that growth—individual, team, and organizational—begins with how we lead.”
