Drew Munro is a Co-Founder and Principal at LEAD for Growth. His career has included leadership positions in the US, Canada, UK, Europe and Australasia. In senior roles at Beam Suntory, Grupo Modelo and Molson Coors, Drew developed strategies and operations to lead 6 consecutive businesses from decline back to growth. With a background in Brands Marketing (Client and Agency), he grew into increasingly senior Commercial and multi-geography roles, having served as a General Manager, VP, President & CEO. He has worked in direct to consumer, business to business, 2 and 3 tier business models and as a brand owner, distributor and joint venture partner with global, regional and local customer partners.
Drew has delivered growth consulting and Executive Coaching across a wide range of B2B and B2C verticals and Clients including CPG, Health & Wellness, Technology, Chemicals, Crown Corporations, Pharmaceuticals, Construction, Capital Goods, Visual Arts, Event Production, Natural Resources, Not For Profit, Financial Services, Professional Services, Social Enterprise, Beverage Alcohol, and Family Enterprises/Offices.
Working with Boards of Directors, Executive Teams and Senior Management Teams, Drew embraces the challenge of transforming organizations and challenging conventional thinking to create diverse teams focused on leading for growth. He has spent a career helping senior teams analyze data, establish facts, create actionable insights, build high performance teams and develop vibrant cultures. He has deep experience in M&A, as part of acquiring and acquired organizations, developing commitment cases, participating in deal teams, and leading post-acquisition integration.
